29 July 2003
Well
the start of another working week and Tuesday has come and
gone already!
News
today is that NSW Public School teachers are to strike.
Here's what I have to say on the matter... [rant]
In
site news, the last remaining section - "Links" -
will be up by the end of the week... drop me a line
to push for a weird or wonderful site that should be included!
And
the new wave of reality TV is here with Australian
Idol... I am disappointed our own Angelo "Craig
David" Buultjens didn't have a crack... could have been a
hit - just like that guy who looked like Meatloaf!
Anyway, some poonce will win and will be crowned
"Australia's Idol"... why do 14 year old girls
opinions count as to what this nation deems as popular.
First Reggie wins Big
Brother on the back of the teenage vote, and I am certain
this show will be "won" by a blonde, 18-21 bloke
with dimples.... aaaggghh!! Why can't Stephen Waugh be
in the running? Now there's an idol worth worshipping!!
27 July 2003
Just
a quick update - has been a fairly busy weekend with Kate's
birthday... Lots of presents she loves them all - thanks
to everybody!
In
world events, I read this morning that some rebel Philippine
soldiers took some Australian's (incl the Ambassador to
the Phillippines) hostage. Whilst they have been
released, you
just have to wonder why Australians are the targets?
Wouldn't have something to do on our views on "The War On
Terror" would it Lil' Johnny?
Oh
well, looks like we have the might of the Solomon Islands
licked, maybe we can go beat up on the Phillippino's next...
just have to ask Uncle George first for permission.
Also,
just letting you know the Forum section is going well... feel
free to express your views!
24 July 2003
The
ClayInfinity Forum is now up and running. Click here to
check them out: [Forum]
Also,
the Truth? section is online, and will come along over
time. Again click here: [Truth]
A lot
of people today were sent a link to my site to check it out
(couldn't resist!)... Let me know what you think via the Forum
and also feel free to pass this site on to people you know...
I wouldn't mind if the Forum's became a central point where
people, in particular my friends and family and their
subsequent friends, used it as a bit of a social bar...
And
by all means, comment on the (few) articles that are up here
already...

22 July 2003
Today
was a significant day. I joined a gym. Yep, signed
up, all done. Exercised for 90mins and really enjoyed
it. With work etc, its difficult to find time, but I am
determined to go at least twice a week - Tuesdays and
Thursdays!
OK,
here goes... my first rant (see yesterday's entry).
Really haven't given it a good read through... its about our
favourite Prime Minister and his quantum leaps of logic... [rant]
On
the home front, my little Brooke is sick with a tummy
bug. It's her big sister Kate's birthday tomorrow... so
I hope she's better by then. Love you baby girl xx
21 July 2003
Well,
John Howard and his government have ticked me off again... in
the next day or two I will be posting my rant about why.
Before I do that, maybe you should check my rant
intro.
My
first additional content is up now... read out "why"
this site is here [article]
And
my opinions on Krispy Kreme donuts are not just my own.
A straw poll of friends and colleagues generally agreed that
the KK donuts are:
-
way
too sweet
-
too
expensive (unless you buy in bulk)
-
and
are way too sweet
Generally,
consider them to be donuts like Big Mac's are to your regular
Milk Bar hamburger. At least donuts are confectionary,
and you don't have to add a pickle to stop it being so!
20 July 2003
Today I have tried my first Krispy Kreme
donuts! Well I was kinda obsessing about them so I went
and lined up for 15 minutes and bought them. Now I feel
sick! And I only had 4!!
I warn you all to stay away from their
"Devil Food' Donuts!!
19 July 2003
Well my team, St George Illawarra got up
tonight in the NRL game against the Cowboys. Check it
out at http://www.nrl.com.au/.
Go the Saints!
Slow news today, good to see Frank Lowy
gain control of Soccer Australia (see link).
That Les Avory needs a good hard kick in the arse!
PS - should be working on the links off
this page soon!!
15 July 2003
Well I am up online, check it out at clayinfinity.tripod.com.
(Well you already are...) Nothing is working however, as all
the links to other pages seems to be back to my hard
drive.
Anyway, on other things... Work has been
busy, home tonight at 10:30pm... should settle down by the end
of the week.
12 July 2003
Ok here goes... the first
Daily Diatribe...
At this stage, the site is yet
to go online. I have a few options of
hosting.
My mate Siebs has reserved some space on
https://www.tripod.com/
but I am not sure due to pop-ups etc. There are other
free hosting sites as well...
But my ultimate goal is to have my own
online spot and the cost of hosting is really only $30 a month
or so... (I'm yet to shop around in detail)
